Web site projects are normally managed by us using formal project management principles and tools. We are trained in formal project management disciplines including the PRINCE2 system, the UK Government sponsored system for IT projects and use formal project planning tools like Microsoft Project.

The use of an agreed project plan allows us to define the list of tasks, resource requirements and timescales.

Since the time limiting factor for site deployment is normally the provision of content material by the client we are quite happy to project manage this activity for you too.

For a typical web site implementation project we would anticipate the following process flow;

• Creation of a Requirements Specification (RS)
• Supply and acceptance of our quotation
• Agreement to business terms and conditions
• Signed contract and (in some cases) an initial payment to cover non-recoverable development costs and service payments
• Development of the project plan identifying who is responsible for the production and provision of each requirement and agreed timescale for delivery.
• Site design and development
• Design approval
• Page population with content and media
• Site testing
• Site publication and formal launch
• Verify delivered site against RS
• Final Payment
• Setting up on-going support contract (optional).
